Wax application should be controlled and consistent. The wax is applied in a thick oval shape, never wider than two fingers and approximately the length of the middle finger. This ensures the wax maintains strength and flexibility for effective removal.

Removal direction is critical. The wax must always be removed downwards towards the buttock, never upwards, to protect the skin and minimise discomfort.
